Sunday Bracket 12/30

One Seeds

Duke clearly looks the part of a one seed, so they are the top overall seed. Unbeaten Michigan is an easy call, too. After that, it’s a tough call between Kansas, Tennessee, and unbeaten Virginia. But Kansas and Tennessee have better wins than Virginia and Kansas’s head to head over Tennessee gives them regional preference.

The Atlantic Sun and Ohio Valley

You’re not dreaming; the Atlantic Sun and Ohio Valley are getting their own paragraph. In this bracket, Belmont appears as a ten seed while Lipscomb is a 12. Belmont and Murray State both have quality wins already so if one of them can dominate the Ohio Valley, an at-large may follow.

Similarly, the Atlantic Sun could produce an at-large. Lipscomb won at TCU while Liberty won at UCLA. The best thing for the Atlantic Sun is for Lipscomb to run roughshod over the conference before having Liberty or NJIT win the conference tourney.
